Terms of Service

1. About us

Tam Sauna is operated by Tam Holdings, LLC, a Washington limited liability company. We offer private sauna sessions at our locations in Federal Way, Buckley, Auburn and Lake Tapps, Washington.

2. Bookings

• Each session is a private 4-hour booking of one location for your group only (5 hours at Lake Tapps).
• Sessions run 1:00 PM – 5:00 PM or 7:00 PM – 11:00 PM (Lake Tapps: 4:00 PM – 9:00 PM), unless shown otherwise when booking.
• The person who books must be at least 21 years old and is fully responsible for all guests during the session.
• The base price includes up to 8 guests. Additional adults and children can be added as paid extras when booking, up to the group size we allow for that location.
• A booking is confirmed once payment or the required deposit is received and you get a confirmation email.

3. Prices and payment

• Current prices are shown on our website and booking page, including the session price and extras such as sauna veniks and additional guests.
• You can pay the full amount when booking, or reserve with a $100 deposit. If you pay a deposit, the remaining balance is due before your session starts.
• Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Applicable taxes, if any, are shown at checkout.
• Promo codes and discounts cannot be combined unless stated otherwise and have no cash value.

4. Changes, cancellations and refunds

If you cancel, the refund depends on how far in advance you cancel, counted from the start time of your session:

• 7 days or more before the session: 100% refund of the amount paid, including the deposit.
• 3 to 7 days before the session: 50% refund of the amount paid.
• Less than 3 days (72 hours) before the session, or a no-show: no refund.

• How to cancel: use the link in your confirmation email or contact us. The time we receive your cancellation is the time we use to calculate the refund.
• Refunds are returned to the original payment method.
• Rescheduling: you can move your booking to another available date and time at least 48 hours before your session using the link in your confirmation email, or by contacting us.
• Late arrival: your session still ends at the scheduled time.
• Late departure: a $50 fee applies if the group stays more than 15 minutes past the scheduled end time.
• If we need to cancel (for example, because of a power outage, equipment failure or unsafe conditions), we will offer you a new date or a full refund.

5. Waivers

Every guest must read and sign the Facilities Use Agreement and Release of Liability before using the facilities. The person who books signs while booking. All other guests sign using the guest waiver link we send. A parent or guardian must sign for any guest under 18. Guests who have not signed may be asked not to use the facilities, and this does not entitle the group to a refund.

6. Your visit

• Please follow the Tam Sauna rules and any instructions posted at the location.
• Towels are not included. Please bring your own towels and swimwear.
• No alcohol is permitted on the property. Violation may result in removal from the premises and a $200 fine. No smoking anywhere on the property.
• Do not use the sauna, hot tub or cold plunge while impaired, ill, or under the influence of alcohol, cannabis or drugs. Stop immediately if you feel unwell.
• Quiet hours begin at 10 PM, and the hot tub may be used until 10 PM.
• Children must be supervised by a responsible adult at all times.
• Only the guests in your booking may enter. Please respect our neighbors.
• We may end a session early, without a refund, if guests break the rules, put anyone at risk or damage the property.

7. Property and damage

The person who booked is responsible for any damage to the property, equipment or furnishings caused by their group, beyond normal wear and tear, and agrees to pay reasonable repair or replacement costs. Tam Sauna is not responsible for lost, stolen or damaged personal belongings.

8. Emails and text messages

By booking, you agree that we may send you service messages about your booking, such as confirmations, reminders and updates, by email and, if you provide your phone number and consent, by text message. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out of texts or HELP for help. See our Privacy Policy for details.

9. Limitation of liability

Use of the facilities is subject to the signed Facilities Use Agreement and Release of Liability. To the fullest extent permitted by Washington law, Tam Sauna's total liability for any claim related to a booking is limited to the amount you paid for that booking. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law, including liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Washington. Any dispute will be brought exclusively in the Superior Court of Pierce County, Washington.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in effect when you book applies to that booking.
